Motorola Razr has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, covered with Gorilla Glass display. It has a very slim and lightweight Kevlar-infused body. At it’s thinnest, the body is just 7.1mm. It boast of being thinnest smartphone in the world. For comparison, Samsung Galaxy S2 is at 8.5mm and iPhone 4S is at 9.3mm.
The MOTOROLA RAZR is made with KEVLAR® fibre which makes it a tough phone. Corning® Gorilla® Glass helps the screen stand up to the scratches and scrapes that are bound to happen. Not only that, Razr is protected with a splash-guard coating , even the electrical boards inside. Now, that is simply amazing.
You can enjoy the Super AMOLED Advanced display’s vibrant colors, making watching videos and playing games more enjoyable. Razr also has a zero motion-blur technology. There is a 8MP camera that supports 1080p HD video recording, for crisp and clear pictures.
Motorola Razr is powered by a OMAP 4430 chipset with a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor and 1GB of RAM. Onboard storage is 16GB. You can expand it further using the microSD slot. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Check this out, Motorola announced that this is upgradable to ICS, IceCream Sandwich at the start of 2012.
There is a 1800mAh capacity battery that powers the phone and allows it up to 12.5 hours of talk time and 8.9 hours of video. Please note that the battery is non removable.
Motorola Razr will be available in November. There are rumors that Motorola Singapore will sell this phone in November 11. So, it should be available around the same time frame in Malaysia too.
No official price have been released for now. Considering the fact that Samsung Galaxy S2 launched with a price tag of RM2099, we should expect that it will retail around this price range too.
